Info

Biography Vivian Alarcón, (born and stablished in Barcelona, 1995), is a Spanish artist known for sculpting glass and mixed media into profound studies of the spirit, emotion, and metaphysical states.

Her background studies have helped her develop compositional precision with a deep sensitivity to silhoutte, a foundation powerfully demonstrated at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao in 2019. Now specializing in glass as her core language, she explores spiritual processes, hermetic tradition, and esotericism through sculpture and installation, aiming to make a material trace of the intangible.

Her parallel project House of vv becomes a more playful ground where she explores archetypes of childhood memories, including developing exclusive collections for brands and designers such as Casa Batlló,  Palau de la Música, Luga Hugo Brucurelli x Hermès windows, Thevxlley, and her work has been recognised by AD Spain, also selected as Best of Spain (2024) issue, The Oblist curation, and featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and M Le Monde, amongst others.

2025 Serie: Pasen y vean... / (Series: Step right up and see!)

A wine glass as a canvas, a field for expansion. This series explores the limits of a familiar silhouette, merging circus-inspired elements and childhood nostalgia with the utilitarian and simple nature of a wine glass. A vessel where function meets the extraordinary.
Each piece has a unique purpose, research process and discovery; drawing on paper, testing and blowing glass, development and playful intuition. Driven by the will to create objects I find missing. Bringing them into existence to fill that gap with a smile. To build a more beautiful universe.

Exhibition at Lab 36, Barcelona, Spain.
14th-17 th January, 2026.
